Williamson, David

David Williamson holds Pharmacy (B.Pharm, 1996) and Hospital Pharmacy degrees (M.Sc., 1997) for the Université de Montréal. He also completed a post-graduated year-2 residency (PGY2) at Sacré-Coeur Hospital (1998), critical care pharmacy training at the Medical University of South Carolina (2002) and a Ph.D. at the Université de Sherbrooke (2014). He is currently a Full Clinical Professor and Co-Director of the Clinical Pharmacotherapy Residency Master’s Program at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Université de Montréal. He is also a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Sacré-Coeur Hospital in Montreal. He’s an FRQ-S funded Clinical Scientist at the Sacré-Coeur Hospital Research Center. His research program focuses on the pharmacotherapy of sedation, agitation, delirium and pain in traumatic brain injury and in the ICU.
