Green, Robert

Dr. Robert S. Green is a Clinician-Scientist and Professor in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at Dalhousie University (Halifax, NS), and he is the Research Chair for the Department of Critical Care at Dalhousie University. Dr. Green attended medical school at Dalhousie University before completing his residency in Emergency Medicine and a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the University of Manitoba. He is also a staff physician (Emergency Medicine, Critical Care) and Trauma Team Leader at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Science Centre (Halifax, NS), and he is the Provincial Medical Director of Trauma Nova Scotia.

Dr. Green’s research focuses around the resuscitation of critically ill patients. He is also an associate scientist with the Centre for Transfusion Research at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. Dr. Green mentors various research students, including critical care fellows, residents and medical students.
